Readymade ‘09 – Washington D.C.

(Washington, DC) Originally from Los Angeles and screening in Takoma Park on Friday, October 2, 2009, Readymade Film Fest will showcase a collection of short films by independent artists that seek to defy conventional norms and express alternative viewpoints in today’s digital age of do-it yourself filmmaking.

This year’s 19 selections vary in form, including live action, documentary, experimental and animation. This year’s festival is a followup to last Fall’s highly successful rooftop screening atop the Ellington along U Street’s historic corridor. Earlier this summer more than 200 people attended the Los Angeles premiere.
