We are currently taking submissions for the 2008 Summer Solstice Coast to Coast Edition! We are looking for provocative short films that are both artistically and philosophically as well as embrace digital filmmaking without sacrificing the content of the work. We are currently accepting fiction shorts, animation and documentaries.

Films can be from 10 seconds to 20 mintues in length. Though we are considering 20-minute shorts we do expect longer films to take our breath away and truly use the length to the benefit of the film. Films can be submitted in DVD, MiniDV, QuickTime, and over the Internet through any of the social network websites like YouTube.com or MySpace.com. Those films that are selected to the festival will be announced on our website and filmmakers will be notified with time for submitting screening version.

DEADLINE FOR SUBMISSIONS HAS BEEN EXTENDED TO JUNE 10TH, 2008. We may be able to extend this deadline on certain circumstances. Please email us if you think you will need extra time to submit, but please do not wait. We will not be accepting post deadline films with no prior arrangements.

Films can be submitted in the following ways: 1) Via email along with the submission form with a link to the film on any of the major social network websites such as Myspace.com or Youtube.com. 2) Via regular mail along with the submission form. 3) A link to an FTP account were festival organizers can download a copy of the film along with the submission form. Submission form contains further submission information. ALL THE FILMS THAT ARE SELECTED FOR SCREENINGS MUST EVENTUALLY BE DELIVERED IN HI-RES QUICKTIME FORMAT OR MINIDV.
