Screening of “Alambrista” & talk-back with Director

Revolution Books Grand Opening event featuring a rare theatrical screening of the award-winning classic and highly relevant film “Alambrista”, which depicts the harsh life of undocumented workers in the U.S. Followed by talk-back with renowned director Robert M. Young, in conversation with Michael Slate, KPFK radio host and writer for Revolution newspaper, and Q&A with the audience.

Benefit event for Revolution Books / Libros Revolucion: $10 students & unemployed; $20 general admission; $100 for special seating and copy of book/DVD/CD “Alambrista & the U.S.-Mexico Border”; $250 for the above plus year’s membership in Friends of Revolution Books / Libros Revolucion. The 2010 Readymade Film Fest summer line up is now posted! RMFF congratulates all the filmmakers that have been selected for this year’s festivals. This year’s line up is by far one of the strongest RMFF has seen in its decade of screenings. We want to thank everyone who submitted their films. It was very inspirational to see all the fine work of so many talented filmmakers. We look forward to sharing this high quality work with the RMFF audience.
